Anna Jacobson

This work investigates old objects and aspects of the personal archive. Found in cupboards, under beds, shifting through the house, I felt the need to document these family items as though they were museum pieces. The process of stop motion enables me to experience each object again, bring them back to life and capture how they move and sound. Each box reveals clues and unpack themselves again before our eyes, captured on an imaginary conveyor belt that can never get lost; one that we can keep revisiting and remembering.
