Anna Jacobson

This work evolves from my experience as a musician rehearsing in the Old Museum Building. Over the past three years I have explored and discovered its different areas and have been drawn to the old rooms where escaped discordant melodies are caught and echoed. Each room has its own cavern of sounds and strange artifacts left behind. In each of these spaces I perform actions to evoke the character of each room and share my own journey through these photographic acts. Ultimately I would like to create an appreciation for these forgotten spaces for the viewer through poetic expression and its ethereal nature.
